No mês de maio temos dois estudos qualitativos sobre o mesmo tema (AVE e Fisioterapia Aquática) vindo do mesmo país, o Canadá e do mesmo estado, Ontário. O primeiro focou nos pacientes e seus cuidadores, enquanto que o segundo também nos pacientes e nos profissionais de saúde. O terceiro estudo investigou a viabilidade e os desafios do uso do ambiente aquático para realizar testes baseados em performance em comparação com avaliações em solo e o quarto é um estudo bibliométrico sobre dados das pesquisas publicadas nos últimos 50 anos na área das disfunções musculoesqueléticas e os exercícios aquáticos. O quinto estudo é uma série de casos sobre os atendimentos de militares, o sexto é biomecânica que envolve a marcha de pacientes com paralisia cerebral, comparando dentro e fora da água e por fim, um ensaio clínico aleatório sobre o Ai-Chi em pessoas idosas.

In May we found two qualitative studies on the same topic (stroke and aquatic physical therapy) coming from the same country, Canada, and the same state, Ontario. The first focused on patients and their caregivers, while the second focused on patients and health professionals. The third study investigated the feasibility and challenges of using the aquatic environment to conduct performance-based testing compared to land-based assessments, and the fourth is a bibliometric study on data from research published in the last 50 years in the area of musculoskeletal disorders and aquatic exercises. The fifth study is a case series on military care, the sixth investigated biomechanics in the gait of patients with cerebral palsy, making comparisons in and out of water, and finally, we identified a randomized controlled trial on Ai-Chi in older people.
